Lauren Altman worked in the Exhibition Management department from 2012–2013, where she contributed to the BMW Guggenheim Lab's Mumbai program. She recently cofounded a research and design studio called Public Matter, which explores the role of public space in urban life. She has contributed to initiatives at the Municipal Arts Society and Creative Time, where she helped execute artist Trevor Paglen's public art project titled The Last Pictures. She was a resident curator at Node Center in Berlin while completing her Contemporary Art MA thesis for Sotheby’s Institute of Art in 2011. Lauren earned a BFA in Communication Design from Parsons the New School for Design in 2010.
