This catalog of a 1972 photography exhibit at Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Arts is perhaps most interesting for its unusual presentation. Photographs from the exhibit were reproduced as individual postcards then wrapped in a clever package which was mailed directly to the Guggenheim Museum Library 41 years ago, on March 24th, 1972. The 25 Boston-area photographers included in the exhibit range in age from 24 to 39, providing a time capsule of the regional photography scene of the early 1970s.

Have you come across any exhibition ephemera—catalogs, posters, buttons, or the like—that struck you as particularly interesting or clever?
